Building Skills NY assists NYC residents who have long been unable to gain access to careers in the construction industry. Not every student will enroll in college and not every student will be able to get into a union apprenticeship, but there are still other career pathways available to them.
I highly encourage graduating seniors from CTE construction-related programs (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and any related skilled trade) to attend this session so they can know more about their options; and also the younger students so they can be aware such resources like this exist for them. This session is also useful for any of your recent graduates who are interested in learning more.
