NYC public school student

Available for the program duration from July 7th through August 15th.

Must be interested in the fields of Architecture, Business, Construction/Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, Real Estate and or related areas

Effective communication and interpersonal skills
-
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and a self-starter
-
In good academic standing (GPA will be considered)

Knowledge of MS Office is a plus
-
Preference will be given to juniors and seniors, but students in any grades level may apply

Navigate to Careers > Internships > High School Summer Internship Program and click the applicant login link.

Upload an up-to-date resume to the online application.

Upload or ask a school counselor to send an official high school transcript to [email protected]

Students need to ask a teacher or school counselor to complete the SIP Recommendation Form for them and submit it to SIP directly by March 7th. The form can be downloaded from the SIP page on the SCA website.
Key Dates for the Program:

Online application opens January 2nd through March 7th

Notification of the selected students for the interview process: February through March 10th

In-person SIP interviews for selected applicants: February 17-21 through March 21st

Notification of preliminary acceptance into the SIP program by April 7th

Selected students to submit employment application and required documents (I9 documentation and age-appropriate working papers) for selected students: April 14th through April 18th

Selected students bring in original I-9 documents and age-appropriate working papers (for those both after July 7, 2007). Working papers will be kept with HR and returned to students on the last day of program)

SIP Program begins: July 7th and runs through August 15, 2025
