Eligibility:
Applicant must be a Staten Island resident
Applicant must be entering their first year of college/university
Applicant must be of at least 25% Italian heritage
Applicant must have a minimum GPAof 3.5 or higher
Mandatory attendance is required for the award ceremony scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2025.
Established since 1950, the Italian Club of Staten Island Foundation [501(c)(3), ICOSIF] is
sponsoring a merit scholarship for students of Italian descent (25%), and entering their first year
of college/university. Applicants are expected to represent the best values in life and scholarship
in accordance the mission of the ICOSIF Foundation, and is required to be a resident of
Richmond County.
The scholarship awarded to selected applicants is primarily based on merit
and character (icosif.org/ scholarship-info) The successful applicant is required to receive the
scholarship award, in person, at a ICOSIF reception on Staten Island, N.Y., and scheduled for:
Thursday,April 24, 2025.
