Looking for a way to add leadership positions to your college applications? Searching for something to do over the summer? Youth4AM is currently looking for TAs to teach SHSAT material to upcoming middle school test-takers!
If you’re interested in earning volunteer hours would be a perfect opportunity to do so. You’ll be able to interact with NYC students and see firsthand how your leadership impacts them. Through NYRA’s tried-and-true 6-year program, you’ll learn important skills, receive mentorship from college students, and eventually work your way up to paid positions!
Due to our highly selective procedures, our TA information seminar is the perfect opportunity to learn more about our program and to indicate your interest in our program. On April 26 from 8PM-9:30PM, you’ll learn about the duties a TA has, meet our current leadership team, and listen to what we’ve learned and/or benefitted from during our time at Youth4AM. You’ll also receive information on our TA evaluation process for acceptances, promotions, and awards such as the PVSA.
For those who have already signed up to become a TA, you will receive updates of your application late April. For those who still haven’t signed up, our seminar will be a great opportunity for you to see all we have to offer!
