Special Opportunities

The New York Public Library is looking for teens in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade who are interested in at least one of the following:
Working with children
Exploring a career in education, literacy, librarianship, and/or youth services
Exploring the world and work of libraries

Teen Advisory Board

Students in 11th–12th grade at NYC public high schools are invited to apply for a paid internship at The Noguchi Museum with our Teen Advisory Board (TAB).

The NY State Courts are launching a Law Enforcement Explorer program for students 14-17.  As part of the NY State Courts’ ongoing community outreach and civic engagement efforts, the court system’s Department of Public Safety is launching an “Explorers” youth leadership and community service program in Brooklyn and currently recruiting students to participate in this interactive, volunteer program.

Space is LIMITED to 20 students.
